Anne Jillson
Chief of Staff
Dr. Jillson was born and raised in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. She received a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology from Mount Ida College (now UMASS) in Newton, MA, and spent twelve years working as a veterinary technician in small animal general practice. After years in New England, she traded snow boots and ski goggles for flip flops and sunglasses when she was accepted to Midwestern University, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Jillson’s professional interests include feline medicine, preventative care, internal medicine, and pain management. She is an active member of the student board of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, and even launched the organizations very first student chapter during her years at Midwestern. She has a passion for educating clients on signs of animal pain and the various ways to alleviate this pain, giving patients the best possible quality of life.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her four legged family: Remy, a 7 year old pit bull; Morgan, a 14y tortoiseshell cat; and the two newest additions, Charlie (an 11 month old cat) and Gus (a trouble making 2 month old kitten).
Dr Jillson looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
